Unfortunately for us, but most fortunately for her (as she will be working from her lovely new home) Teresa will no longer practice from Fionnuisce from 9th August 2011.

Registered nurse (SRN) 1977 – 1980

Registered midwife (SCM) 1981 – 1982

Practised as community midwife for 14 years in London and Kent, attending home births and also hospital births.

Back to college to study Osteopathy, a 4 year full-time degree course (BSc.Ost Hons) in Maidstone, Kent.

Returned to Cork 1996 and started own osteo practice in Douglas.

Specialises in the very functional approach in osteopathy, cranial osteopathy, with her main passion being the treatment of newborn babies, children and pregnant women.

She also lectures in Russia, UK, Italy and Germany, on the osteopathic approach of treatment of babies, children and pregnant women from the obstetric point of view.

She is the co-author of an osteopathic textbook, “Textbook of Paediatric Osteopathy”.

Her focus in treatment very much involves the emotional and spiritual path of each individual client as she sees the changes that people make on every level, when they are helped to regain a “midline” or balance of the entire body.
