Deirdre is a registered Reflexologist and Massage Practitioner and also practices Reiki Healing. Deirdre`s transition into complementary medicine came about due to her desire to have a more wholesome and hands-on approach to people`s health and wellbeing; this she now achieves throught the nurturing and nourishing touch of massage therapy, reflexology and reiki.

Deirdre`s approach is grounded by her years spent studying human physiology and then later working as a physiology tutor and medical research scientist. The transition into complementary medicine came about due to her desire to have a more wholesome and hands-on approach to people`s health and wellbeing; this she now achieves throught the nurturing and nourishing touch of massage therapy, reflexology and reiki.
Deirdre very much enjoys the diversity of working with an extensive range of clients. She practices many modalities of massage ranging from therapeutic through to focused remedial bodywork. She has a special interest in clinical and corrective bodywork and aims to restore natural pain-free movement to persistently shortened soft tissue through touch while at the same time keeping the whole person in mind.
With reflexology Deirdre works with all health issues and age groups. She has additional expertise in maternity reflexology and massage and offers both therapies throughout pregnancy and during post-natal recovery. In pregnancy reflexology can help allievate the adverse effects of physiological changes as they arise by triggering the body`s self-healing and self-regulating capacities. In addition, Deirdre practices reflexology for sub-fertility and also offers baby reflexology to help treat specific aliments such as colic, constipation etc.
Deirdre is continually updating her skills to enhance her knowledge and techniques for her own benefit and ultimately for that of her clients.
