Creative Drama and Music

Creative Drama provides the opportunity to explore creative self expression through play.

Drama involves the whole person. An actor uses their whole being to create a role. Drama training develops the student`s physical, vocal, emotional and imaginative expression and liberates the creative life force.

Creative Drama energises, enlivens, increases self confidence, empowers the voice, develops the imagination and is great fun into the bargain. As it is a group activity it also develops communication skills and provides the satisfaction of engaging in collaborative creativity.

The skills developed in Creative Drama workshops can be applied directly to life, enhancing the student`s ability to live life dynamically and joyfully.

The Creative Drama workshops take place at weekends and evenings and include Improvisation, Characterisation, Theatre Games and Vocal and Physical exercises.

All are welcome, with or without previous experience in Drama.

Rock Shop.

From 2010 Ian Wild will be offering a Rockshop for those who are interested in learning an instrument, songwriting, arranging, writing lyrics, forming a band, performing onstage and generally being a rock star in embryo. The focus will very much be on having fun with music and discovering that anyone and everyone can write and perform their own songs.
